Ospreys Girl’s U15’s & U18’s are running pre season and player development sessions. The sessions are planned to both challenge experienced players while at the same time develop any new faces that may wish to try rugby for the first time! A sunny day saw girls from all over Wales make their way to Abercrave RFC. The skills day saw the players put through their paces by a number of regional coaches and a great day was had by all involved. Afan Nedd Rugby BadgeA small group of girls (under 11’s and 13’s) have been training on a Tuesday night at Court Herbert under the guidance of Sian Moore (Michael Dyer) and this coming Tuesday (29th) they’ll be playing conditioned games against similar groups from Bridgend and Swansea. The session starts at 5.30pm so girls are asked to arrive at 5.15pm.

More girls are required and anyone interested can turn up on the night or at future training sessions. At present all training sessions are scheduled on Tuesday evenings (5.30pm -6.30pm) at Court Herbert, Neath Sports Centre.

Neath Athletic RFC BadgeNeath Athletic RFC Girls Rugby Taster Day Saturday 3rd July at Neath sports Centre, Court Herbert. 10am until 1pm For all ages from 11 years old to senior ladies.

Rugby stations will be set up for players to experience a variety of skills during the day. Osprey players will be on hand for advise and information.
